EXT cab STOOPID NEED HELP!

I have a trace elliot combo 7210H it's a 300watt amp w/200 to the mains and through the magic of amp wizzardry It is supposed to push 250 out the back w/ an additional 8ohm cab attached so I want to put a 1x15 under it. I'm on a budget........ I'm seeing a gallien krueger for 225 which looks alright but there is also a peavy and a fender bassman available for 299$ I like to push some air but like my highs a little too. so I'm looking for a little more bottom and to keep my top end as my combo has a tweeter. Should I get one w/ a horn? Any help or suggestions are appreciated :

All the people who post mindlessly on this site w/ no real knowledge beyond one sided and anectdotal evidence/experience, and nobody has an opinion on what they think would be a better option or if the extra 75 is worth the money A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I'm not looking for rocket science I'm looking for opinions on the trusted bass playing community........


Oh and STFUP on the whole search thing I know how to use it I want some fresh opinions, thank you!

I would go for the GK or Peavey cabs Fender is a crapshoot. They made some decent cabs but not much real good. Just because a cab has no horn does not mean you won't get any highs out of it just that they wont be super high but also wont be too shrill or nasty sounding and no horn means no extra hiss. the best suggestion if you can is go play bioth and see what one you like. Peavey are built like tanks and GK has a good reputation for Bass cabs. You can't really go wrong with either of them the fender will work if you don't plan on pushing it too hard but they seem to have a lot of speaker failures and such. IMHO YMMV
