Extension cab for Ampeg BA210V2.

Hello there! Noobie question...
For a few months now I've been playing through my Ampeg BA210V2, and it's been just fine in basements, bars, and as a monitor when run through a PA in bigger venues. Last night we played a small gymnasium sized place, where I didn't have the option to run through a PA, and the 2 10"s were struggling to be heard over everyone else.
I'm looking to add a 15" extension speaker, this one in particular...

It's lightweight, and I like the sound of those Rumbles a lot.
So, my noobie question is; would that work with my Ampeg? I'm really unfamiliar cabs and such.
Thank you in advance!

I have been thinking about ext cabs for this combo long time. I had purchased a used Ashdown 8ohm 2x10 that I'm not super happy with in this role. I have the part number for the internal speakers in the combo (A2043278 for anyone who is interested).

If I build a cab to the same dimensions as the speaker compartment in my BA210-V2 and mount these same speakers in it, matching plywood thickness should I reasonably expect it to sound as close as possible to the internal speakers or is there a lot more to it than I am taking into consideration?
