EZPar 64 Light Question

Hey gang

I just replaced both of my 4bar light units with two of these EZPar 64's.

Chauvet EZpar 64 RGBA | Musician's Friend

They are great, run on their own batteries and can be controlled via remote with their own IEC controller.

My only gripe is the the small 3v battery in the controllers drain between gigs. I have been forced to take them out between shows. Not a big deal unless you lose the battery though the light will run without them.

Any thoughts?

You replaced 2 4 bars with 2 Led par 64's ? These were chauvet 4 bars ? Damn... That's beyond attractive... Is the beam angle on those as tight as advertised 14 to 23 degrees is damn tight for led wash... I gotta see me some of that in action...

Not sure the physical aspects you are asking about but two do a very ice job. I plan on picking up two of the PAR 54's as well. The cool thing is all 4 will fit in a carry back large enough to carry a bowling ball. Again no cables to run for control or AC. Amazing and the lights are much nice color wise.

I just ordered 2 more so I know have 4. I am confident these will replace the 4 bars and the colors seem better as well.

I'd love to see a real pic. With the lights about 15' out... If you can manage. What I'm reading is beyond attractive...

I'm liking them to but...? Still on the fence. I need some new lighting, I'll admit that. My old incandescent Par Cans just take too much hassle and too much POWER .

LED Pars are a Godsend! I've had so much trouble using standard bulb par lights. They use up so much juice. Have had several circuits blow during shows. Embarrassing! I like the wireless aspect. Battery life allegedly 20 hours.

I recharge after every gig so never tried letting them run out but you can always plug them in and you can use their ac in a pass thru way so you don't need a power strip for multiple lights.

Can a single remote [control] multiple lights?

yes and no, you have to point the clicker if you will like a tv remote. So you can't change them all at the same time. For that you wood need a controller.
