In order to fulfill Alain Caron's desire to attain an "Upright" tone in an electric bass format, we have developed the AC-Classic model. This is the second model in Alain's "signature series" to be developed with his input. Free from the cumbersome size of the acoustic/electric upright basses, you can now carry that distinct tone with you anywhere in a standard sized gig bag. These feature additional chambering, a redwood top, floating bridge, and a new, natural sounding piezo system which is laid out with a Master volume, Bass cut/boost and Treble cut/boost.
