I recently traded for this, but I need cash for other things right now so unfortunately I have to let it go. This is an incredible example of F Bass' take on a 70s style J bass. Dense northern ash body (with enhanced grain finish) and flat-sawn maple neck. It sounds absolutely killer, and is a pleasure to play. The F-Bass 3 band boost only preamp is very musical, and can also be bypassed and the bass run passive V/V/T. The bass has a huge sound and is very balanced including the low B.
This one has the Badass V bridge and F Bass pickups, which IMO is a better choice for this bass than the Hipshot bent plate and Aguilar pickups they are using now. If you did want a set of Aguilar 5J-HC pickups I have some available that could be included at a small cost.
The bass has just been set up with a set of DR Sunbeams and plays exceptionally well. Brand new black pickguard recently installed, all knobs replaced with black knobs. Chrome neck pickup cover included with mounting screws, but not currently drilled for it so you can choose whether or not to use it. F Bass branded Protec gigbag and F Bass leather strap are included. The only mark I can find on the bass is a small depression near the 5th fret marker on the neck (shown in photo below).
