Me, never. I started on cello, after all...

But recall this:

That's somewhere between 10 and 15 years' wear at the hands of a working pro.
I've seen his videos and he has fine technique.
I think that's just many years of gigging with rounds.
I can't rule out that there might have been some bends in its past - I just don't know.
But if that's all it's got to show for 15 years of bends, most weekenders will never have anything to worry about.

Also look at MUB basses, Maurizio can build pretty much anything you might want, quite reasonable prices.
Haven't seen a 6 from him, but I'm pretty sure he'd give it a go. His 4 and 5 string basses look quite nice.
