I'm trying to get through this on netflix as well. I think I've made it to mid season 2, but for some reason, it's a struggle and I'm just not that into it. I'll keep on watching, as I'm generally a big sci fi nerd and will take it over any other genre any day.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad show, but I guess it's not my thing, and i dont find myself compelled by the characters or stories. Same goes for firefly, torchwood, doctor who... all popular sci fi shows, but, whatever the reason for their popularity, it's lost on me.

Just offering my two cents for the sake of discussion of course, to each their own etc...

Each to their own of course, however I do think that Netflix, having the ability to watch everything end to end, can dilute the experience in some cases. Maybe not dilute, but overload, at least vs watching it an episode a week.

Of course, on the other side, video/dvd box sets were around which would also allow this, though people would only typically buy a box set if it was a show they already liked.

I feel the same way about tng (I'll still watch it tho :D), but I think it's due to the fact that I've seen all the episodes so many times I can analyze them to an unreasonable degree.

I must admit, with the availability of entire series on netflix, I do tend to let episode after episode play as I go about my business (noodling, setups, exercising...) so I may miss out on subtler aspects of shows. It didn't keep me from enjoying other shows I caught on netflix though (xena, red dwarf, huff...)

Yup, Chiana was hot. Funny enough, when she disguised herself in one episode as a human, (which was done by removing the white makeup to look like she does in real life) she didn't look quite as hot. Cute sort of, but not really hot anymore. Just like I thought Virginia Hey looked extra hot with the bald head and blue skin, but not quite so hot without it. Go figure.
