I'm trying to get through this on netflix as well. I think I've made it to mid season 2, but for some reason, it's a struggle and I'm just not that into it. I'll keep on watching, as I'm generally a big sci fi nerd and will take it over any other genre any day.
I don't think it's necessarily a bad show, but I guess it's not my thing, and i dont find myself compelled by the characters or stories. Same goes for firefly, torchwood, doctor who... all popular sci fi shows, but, whatever the reason for their popularity, it's lost on me.
Just offering my two cents for the sake of discussion of course, to each their own etc...
Each to their own of course, however I do think that Netflix, having the ability to watch everything end to end, can dilute the experience in some cases. Maybe not dilute, but overload, at least vs watching it an episode a week.
Of course, on the other side, video/dvd box sets were around which would also allow this, though people would only typically buy a box set if it was a show they already liked.
I don't know, I kinda like that aspect.
Typically I do too but there have been a few shows that I get tired of faster that I would have predicted.
Star trek:TNG is one. I loved that show when first aired, now I have a hard time not critiquing it.
The only thing I remember about this show was the hot chick with the white hair...
