Fast neck

I played a Ken Smith 4 for years. IMO - the neck is more like a precision neck than a jazz neck. I started on a Jazz and went back to that model for weight, balance, accessibility and ease of playing. My 71 has a 7.5 radius , just like my DJ4 with 22 frets. I am considering a Sadowsky NYC standard with a 9" radius. Any opinions out there about neck radius,width and ease of playing and other basses that are lightweight with a fast neck?
