Fat Jimmy speakers?

Looking to replace speakers in vintage Fender 2 x12 cabinet. It's paired with a '66 Blackface. I've used it with a Bassman 135 occasionally.
Does anyone know anything about Fat Jimmy C1270's? They're rated at 70 watts, but the frequency response is unavailable.
I've also considered Eminence Legend BP 122's (250 watts) and Celestion Pulse 12's (200 watts).
This is a sealed cabinet.
Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated!
 
They won't provide frequency response specs either. What's the mystery? If you're using them for bass, this is important.
I know that can be frustrating but actually the frequency response curves published by many manufacturers can be very misleading and, ultimately, useless. Unless you know what the specifications were for a free air measurement, you don't know much, and if those are not exactly the same for another driver you're considering, you are looking at different species of apples.

Also, the actual real world performance of the driver is very dependent on the enclosure in which it is mounted. So what looks good in a frequency plot may not be what you hear from that driver if it is mounted in a less than the ideal enclosure.

As mentioned in another post, if you know the internal dimensions (and any internal deflectors) of your intended cabinet and the Thiele-Small parameters for the driver, you can model those in a simulator and get an approximate idea of actual response.

No. Vintage Bassman 2 x 12 cabinet.
Ok, I am assuming that this is a sealed cabinet (there are some Bassmans that are also ported, as well as reproductions and modified cabinets).

For this to have any meaningful low end, you will need a bass driver that's optimized for a sealed cabinet and not a ported cabinet. Most bass drivers are designed around ported cabinets (performance suffers in a sealed cabinet, that's why the complete specs are important) but there are a couple of options that work ok in a sealed cabinet:

1. The Eminence BassLite 2012 is a good middle of the road option with a nice balance between LF extension, mid voicing and sensitivity

2. The Eminence BP-122 is another option, a little better LF extension but darker in the mids and significantly lower sensitivity. For using with the Bassman 135, it wouldn't be my first choice. If you have more power and lowish volume requirements, it would be ok.

3. The Eminence Beta 12A is also ok in a sealed cabinet, kind of in between #1 and #2, not the brightness of #1 but brighter than #2.
 
My MojoTone Bassman clone 212 is loaded w/ these Mesa Boogie Scout Neo's. They sound great but are no longer available.

Caveat: my choice was a suggestion from another TB member who tried it first in his Bassman 212 and loved the results. I'm equally happy with/ the results and so are my bandmates. However, @agedhorse knows much more about these implications than I ever will. Best to follow his advice.

Thanks! Definitely requires a speaker designed for sealed cabinet.
 
I’ve got the same rig, but with two 2-12 cabs. I put Webers in them. I called Weber and told them what I was looking for, and I specified that I was going to play bass through it. The recommended a particular model and I bought four of them. They sound great with bass, and I’ve had zero problems with them. I’m sorry, but I don’t recall the model number of the speakers, but I recommend that you call Weber and talk to them about what you’re looking for.

Since we're talking Eminence, what about the Deltalite 2512?
