Favorite Enigma Qball Setting?

I play mine like this but with the blend knob at 11 instead of what you con see on the picture.
Its on BP mode and i did have to tweak the trim pots to adjust the distortion volume to match the clean sound.

To be honest i did find that they where only a few settings i liked!
I dont like the LP or HP mode, pretty mutch keep the sweep frequencies where they are.
I do sometime put the attack at 9 and the delay a bit further, with the distortion and the octave pedal it sounds really synthi!
I really like it more since i added the compressor AFTER i, it does help tame the volume spikes a lot...

You probably have too much signal triggering the filter. Try pulling the sensitivity all the way back and then slowly push it up while you play. This is the hardest part about figuring out a filter IMO. More effect doesn't necessarily lead to more effect :confused:. If you find the sweet spot, you'll hear where the volume spikes are.

If you don't find the sweet spot that way, take the sensitivity back to 0 and then dial your volume on your bass back. If that doesn't work then maybe you were right to begin with and I don't understand what you mean when you type.

I have mine setup like the picture above, only with full blend and a slower att/decy. This is a very delicate pedal and the smallest changes in settings make your sound respond quite different to your playing/instrument. Note to self: find holy grail of settings with this pedal and tape the controls down!

I noticed he position on the knobs interact a lot with each other!
Having attack and delay at the minimum will work with some settings, but if you just tweak the Q a tiny bit it will start to warble and mooh like hell!
In some way this pedal is too versatile for its own good, i t can be hard to get useable settings!
Also the volume of the distortion will vary a lot depending on the blend, the BP, LP or HP setting and the Q making it pretty useless if your a mad tweaker.

In my opinion its best to find a setting you like most, adjust the distortion to match that level and keep to it!

I just got my q-balls today, and Im not finding it as sensitive or variable as others. Im not noticing volume spikes, or increased volume with the distortion.

Im noticing very little change when I alter the settings, and feel like for the most part its not all that responsive.

Wondering if Im just missing something or if it could be defective. Based on what Ive read and listened to I kinda thought this would blow me away from the get-go.

Anyone else experience this?
