Favorite variation on a Jazz bass

Ok, I've been trying out different jazz-ish basses lately, some I really like some not so much. By "variation" I mean not a jazz in traditional look or shape (no Sadowksy, Lull, or other clones), but in that it has two jazz pickups.
My favorites:
Older Warwick Corvette - construction top notch, thin fast neck, nice snappy tone.
Pedulla Rapture - KILLER neck, sooo fast. Not a huge fan of Barts but had a solid tone.
Carvin neck thru JJ - great feel
My meh list:
Newer Warwick Corvette -heavy, fat neck, sounded lifeless.
G&L JB2 - nice, nothing special. Terrible dead spots on G string. Nice balance.
90s Yamaha - very nice growling tone! Poor construction, sloppy fretwork, tons of electronic hiss.

Any others worth trying out?

I'll add Wilkins to the mix - especially for the price point of his Road Tested basses, both Jazz and P bass...

Great neck, top quality finish and components, and quartersawn necks on all of the RT basses.

I'm happy with Warmoth:

J neck and P body, 2 hum cancel Jazz pickups (60s spacing), passive with 500k volume pots and Fender TBX tone control.

Gotoh vintage reverse tuners and vintage bridge seal the deal.

One of the most overlooked basses in my opinion right here. I missed this one on ebay awile back (the stock pickguard is black and stock color isn't quite this odd…usually just plain trans black) but I hope to find another someday. Incredibly smooth neck, great electronics, unbeatable price!

I regret getting rid of mine because it was top notch…better than quite a few basses twice it's price, and I look on ebay every day for another one like in the pic I posted, hoping that whoever bought it decides to sell it. Even though it's used I'd pay the "new" price for it.
