It's truly an amazing bass, and I've been on the fence about selling it for quite a while. If it wasn't for the fact that I need the funds (and the space) to make a move on a bass I've wanted for a while, I'd most certainly keep it.

Matt makes great basses... sold my FBB fretless only because I don't use fretless much. Most underrated basses out there, IMHO.

They are incredibly underrated. I have a five string FBB that has been my main bass for the last 8 years. If it wasn't for the fact that an old girlfriend had gotten me the fretless (which doesn't sit well with my wife), I'd would most certainly keep it.

Free bump for my old bass! I was the original owner. It was 75% built at the time Matt and I were talking about it, so I was able to give a little input on it. Pics do not do that bass justice, it is absolutely gorgeous in person. IIRC it has a tremendously rich fretless sound.

It's one of those basses I sort of regret selling, if only to be able to look at it on the wall and noodle a bit. It was my first attempt at a 6 with narrower spacing and lined fretless. Ultimately I just didn't feel at home with either, though I stuck it out for a few years I think.

They are really amazing basses. In addition to this bass, I also have a five string that I acquired back in 2008 that quite possibly has the best sounding B string I've heard on any bass, putting it in the same league as my Fodera and MTD. It is a shame that FBB isn't more well known.
