Stay Awake (Bass Demo)

im playing over a mate’s track as a demo so nothing professional in the mix.

• Slight boost in the high mids
• light compression, medium attack
• Sansamp set to stock SVT tone
• Mesa 2x15 impulse response
• Medium compression

Sounds like a strong, punchy tone to me. It could be dialed back a bit in that mix, but I like it.

I 100% agree with you about the bass in the mix. I left it high to stand out.
