All of the female drummers Ive known, except one, have been lesbians, and not of the lipstick variety. They were quit butch. In fact, the only one that I dont think was a lesbian might have been, but she was pretty cute. And my wife had a crush on her.

I once dated a woman drummer who was bi. She was lot's of fun.

My brother's wife is a drummer and as far as I know she is straight. She's also a 5th dan kuk. and owns a martial arts school.

But the best experience I've ever had playing with a drummer was the summer I jammed with a band that had a lesbian drummer. I've never heard a groove quite like it and locking in the bass with her was effortless. Both she and her girlfriend were beauties. Oh, and great tattoos.

Just going by her drumming skills displayed in the video I would say she's adequate doing basic stuff. I didn't see anything special or worthy of note. Rating:4

I don't normally slag on other musicians, but as you said, she's adequate. Her pocket doesn't have any groove at all; she's too much on top of the beat, even for the more technical rock stuff. She gets special attention, though, because she's a female. I actually checked her out a week ago before this thread came up and watched her in the Duality video. I thought she was very sloppy there, having to play with another musician (though to be fair, the guitarist is nothing great either).

The Asian school girl, though, has some serious chops and musicality.

It's been my experience that some players who do well with a track, don't "get" what to do in a band. Throw them a slight curve, and they're gone, musically, and sometimes, physically.
