Up for sale is a NOS Fender 24 Fret Jazz Bass.

    Chrome hardware.
24 Fret Rosewood neck. The back is nice and smooth, and is a cool darker color maple.
    Hipshot, Lic tuners.
    Beautiful quilted maple, sunburst body.
Weight is right around 9 lbs.
    Crafted In Indonesia.

Active, volume, blend and a 3-band active EQ with a "slap" mid-scoop switch.
    I believe it is a 2012. Serial# ICF12020136

I recently bought this, on a wimp….. again, from The Bass Place in Peoria, AZ.

It was noted it was a discontinued “new old stock” model. It is a very beautiful, great sounding bass. I have seen these before as Korean build from 2005 to 2009, but again this is a Indonesia. I don’t know a lot about Fender bass’s, so that’s all I know.

Reason it is for sale is my wife is in school “no second income” and I shouldn’t have bought it in the first place. So……… it’s for sale.

Will ship UPS double boxed, no bag.
    $495.00 shipped conus, PayPal.
Any other questions, please PM me

    Thanks for looking!

Any interest in parting out the loaded neck?

I'd consider taking the body, if @LowEndWooly takes the neck. I also have a question.

Will an after market 21 fret neck work on this body? If it is 34 "scale, it should right? Regardless of the # of frets?

I second that question.. The 24 frets is over hang of the fingerboard, right? So it should fit a standard fender heel pocket. I just noticed the neck plate has 6 bolts

You would have to reposition the bridge.

The neck does not over hang, it is a full neck.
I just measured it and it looks to be 2.5" at the 24th fret. I could remove the neck tonight and check the pocket size.
As in what would fit what I don't know.
I would be willing to sell neck and body separate, Pm me with an offer.

    Thanks

The Fender jazz 24 neck is not compatible with standard 20 fret bodies, the bridge has to be re-positioned. BTW great bass
