Fender 5-strings - question

Looking for some specs on Fender's 5-string necks (beyond what I can find Fender listing). It used to be that the 5-string P's and J's had the same necks - is this still the case? I recall the American Standards having the same neck. I'm wonder if that's still the case for the American Professional II series. The P is listed as a "63 C" while the J lists a "slim C." Does anyone have caliper measurements at the 1st fret?

My caliper shows the 5-string P 1st fret thickness is 0.83" - anyone got a read on the jazz bass necks? I see the 4-string is listed at 0.75" thick at the 1st fret, looking for a measurement of the 5 string neck. Thanks!

FWIW - just heard back from Fender and the 5-string Jazz and P basses have the same necks. C profile, 0.820" at the 1st fret, rolled edges, 9.5" radius, 1.875" width nuts. That is all, as you were.

That's a bit lazy, in my opinion. I feel like the Jazz should be narrower that the precision (like the 4 strings).

The nuts and string spacing are fine for me, but I was really hoping for thinner profile. These both have the 63 C profiles like the P 4-strings; the 4-string jazz Pro II is way thinner like the Geddy necks so not sure why the 5 is so much thicker.

Typical of Fender, this info is hard to find, and on their website these identical necks are described differently. "63 C" vs "Slim C" - to compound that confusion, Fender defines the Slim C as their slimmest profile (especially on jazz basses) but the jazz V is 0.15" thicker or so than their own description.
