Details

Searched long and hard for a very lightweight 70's spacing jazz and I ended up with this gem. Unfortunately I am moving within a month to our new home and honestly don't need all the basses I have. I will most likely end up keeping my P bass so this one is for sale.
If my p bass sells I will take this down.

Not much to say. This is 7.9lbs!! Without the covers. This is the factory special run with aged look!

Beautiful bass! Plays sweet up and down the neck. Truss rod is functional. Will come with ohsc but one of the latches is broke. Comes with both bridge and front pickup covers.

$1450.00 shipped

I bought one of these off of here in September! Same color and similar weight! It's an amazing bass and a super great player! Good luck with the sale! The necks on these are incredible and they are better than a lot of the originals from the 70's!

"This is 7.9 lbs!! Without the covers"
And with the covers it's... 12.89 lbs!
Ha, just foolin'.

Very, very appealing grain and color of both that body and neck. I bet that's both fun and comfortable to play, and probably one of those players that once you strap it on time just flies by.
But pardon on my ignorance, what does the "FSR" specify?

FSR is Fender Special Run. And to the OP, is that a 3-piece body? Hard to tell. Beautiful in any case, one of my bucket list basses. GLWTS!!

I think it's a single piece body. I bought the same model and same year, and it's once piece with almost the same weight. It's just as cool as the real 70's basses, but without all the production problems!

I'm also one of those who prefers/requires the models with a much wider nut and thicker neck, otherwise I might have already made a move on this. But nevertheless, this is one of those posts I look at everyday and ponder over.
That thing looks delicious! A recent and rare model, probably plays and sounds superb, along with an ever so invitingly low price, and all from a very established and trusted TB'er. What more could one hope or want for?
Soon and very soon this will be gone.

Thanks for the kind words! I honestly prefer my p bass b neck. My fingers go wacko when I play a jazz width 4 string

I have the same bass and love it. This price is outrageously good.
