No complaints about the styling. Although the 2+2 headstock is blasphemy!!

I'm okay with it on the blonde bass. Not so much the other.

I'm okay with 2+2 on certain basses. I have aaaaaalmost purchased one of these, numerous times over the past 3 years. I LOVE the headstock ... but can NOT go how wide the entire thing ends up, with those ELEPHANT EAR TUNERS!!! Sorry for screaming like that. But that is what they do. "Look at me! Dare you to try and fit me in a lot of cases!" The headstock screams.

But ... I used ro play 9 ball a lot. And the bass reminds me of a fine Viking pool cue from that era. Especially the headstock!
I'd LOVE it if they used slots, and faced the tuners backwards!!!!
The two reasons I have not purchased one, is I hate everything County music, for the most part. The bass occasionally makes me think country... and that bugs me for sure.
Secondly is the large variance in appearance. Some have zero figure and appear to have been spray painted tops. While others have wonderfully faded sunbursts and great figure. I'd have to KNOW what I was getting beforehand.
Also, I own a Sawtoothasaurus Rex. The king of 34" non custom ABGs. :bassist:
It has mostly killed my 34" scale GAS, outside of a B22.

As we used to say about Prince Charles, looks like a taxi with both doors open.

Hello guys! I tried to search about it but I couldn't find any info. I am looking for a hard case that fits my FA-450- Do you guys know any hard case?
Take dimensions and post.

Body length
Overall length
Body depth
Lower bout
Waist
Upper bout
End of body to center of waist.

TKL, Guardian and Gator have been very accommodating to me if I take the trouble to take accurate dimensions.

I might already have the answer depending on the dimensions you provide.

You could give to me, the best sounding plain looking bass in the world, and I'd sell it that day. Or use it for a feed bin.

I could cover the headstock of 10 acoustic basses, and they all appear to be the same instrument. BORING.

But I have a solution for any member that doesn't enjoy the fancy acoustic basses I post photos of ...
The Blackbird Watchers Forum.
Where some have prettier chirps, but they all look the same in flight.

And seeing how this will irritate B-Mac, who has zero concept of financial limits, I'm feeling like posting photos of things I don't own now! :bassist::poop::hyper:

Here's a $7,500 acoustic bass for sale. Made by a local named David Dart. I guess his :poop: doesn't stink, because JAYZUS I don't see it! How he obtained his website name needs to be investigated... try Luthier.com

I'm sure it says Dart on the headstock, but I only see "Don't"...

So, I don't want to speak badly of anyone I don't personally know.... but he has a reputation for being "god"...

When I took my Burke instruments in to show guitar shop owner Corey, he said they BLEW AWAY anything Dart has ever dreamed of even. Yet his prices are still ....
