I think you're spot on. I'm seriously looking at the FA-450CE for these reasons except it does have a larger body then you're probably speaking of. But no long bulky neck.

Was not aware this existed. If this has a piezo under the bridge, you could try those D'Addario bronze nylons. You might have the sound right there. I have both a Guild and an Ibanez with that scale length and those strings and they are amazing.

I've looked at the Jumbo Junior you speak of. Sound great on utube. I was hesitant due to no cutaway. Have you compared to either the little Taylor or Martin? I find their necks too small.

There’s 2 models of the Kingman (not including finish differences)

Yours came with the earlier Fishman Presys preamp or the later Fishman Presys+ preamp.

The second version is the short scale with different body style.

The Presys+ includes a notch filter which is a godsend for controlling feedback. Which does yours have?

Mine is more recent and has the notch filter: a must-have on stage even for moderate volume gigs.

On stage I have to baffle the sound hole, which makes accessing the Guild JJ controls awkward. My Ibanez PNB has a side mounted control panel with a tuner and 3-band EQ. However, it only has 12 frets to the body, the Guild has 14. I have never tried the Martin or the Taylor.

To get back on forum topic, the Kingman V2 has 15 frets to the body, side mounted controls and, at a 30" scale, more finger room. Ergonomically it makes up for the larger body size with these features. It is certainly better to adjust on the fly between songs. My bandmates like the sound (with tapes) better than the Guild.

Again, I wish D'Addario made the bronze/nylon strings in a longer length.

One reason I'm beginning to lean heavily towards the Kingman V2 Burst. It's a $200.00 pickup plus bag. That makes it the same cost as the CB-60SCE Burst: $599-$200-$50=$349 for what you get. And I'm thinking the Grand Concert body would be easier or more comfortable to play then the Jumbo Alvarez AB60CE.
