Details

Bought this beauty a while ago.
It seems that I only play 3 basses in regular rotation.
This beauty is just sitting on its stand.
Time to thin the herd.

Nice neck . . . nice everything.
I believe from 2010-2012.
About 8.1 lbs.
$840 shipped. Includes basic Fender gig bag.

I have this bass in Old Candy Apple Red. It’s my go-to when I’m not sure what the situation calls for—or when I know a Jazz is the right thing. When the medium scale club sees this, it’ll go in a flash.
GLWTS @reddog!

Yes, they do.... same as medium scale precisions.

I think its about 7/8 of full size.

I tried going with a "conversion neck" and a full scale body....
not as nice. IMHO

I think I want this, but on an airplane right now...I’ve never owned a fender because the bodies have always felt a little odd on me, but I’ve always liked the look of J basses

One more silly question, is there a pocket for the bridge? I only ask because I’ve been researching bridges, and I’m really liking the hipshot kickass bridge with the stainless saddles, I just wasn’t sure if it would fit...thanks!

Someone pm'd me saying they think there is something special about this bridge. I'll have to check when I get home. I've never seen anything about my other medium scale fenders. hmm. (This one spends most of the time in the vault.)...

UPDATE : the picture does show and recess for the bridge. hmm. The good news is that I've never been tempted to put a high mass bridge on one of my medium scale Fender jazzes. The tone has plenty of power (thump, zing, etc.) with the stock MIJ bridge.
