Beautiful Tortoise and black 2010 Fender American Special Precision bass. One of the lightest alder Precisions I’ve had the pleasure of owning at 7.9 pounds on my digital scale, but well balanced for comfortable playing. Includes SKB hard shell case. I am the original purchaser of this instrument. This bass was my number one, but since I had a bass custom made for me a few years ago this one’s not getting played enough, so I’m putting it up for sale. Strung with a set of LaBella 760fl flatwounds that are broken in but in great shape, this has textbook classic Fender Precision tone (I seem to remember having the Fender “Gutbucket” circuit replaced with the classic fender circuit years ago, but can’t swear to it now). Maple neck is straight and plays great with low action. Frets show minimal fret wear since bass has worn flatwound strings for 99.9% of its life. Shows mojo/minor signs of wear, but no significant cosmetic flaws. Upgrades: -Gotoh Res-O-Lite reverse wind vintage style tuners. -Fender tortoise pick guard. -Machined aluminum volume and tone knobs.
