I'm moving cross country to Oregon at the end of the summer and I have to let most of my music gear go to finance the trip. I've owned dozens of basses over the years, and everything that I'm selling now is the best of the best I could find. I would love to keep these basses and amps, but relocating my family is taking priority to everything else right now.
I have for sale a late 2007 Fender American Standard Precision Bass with all of the 2008 upgrades. This is the best Fender that I've played and it actually was the driving force behind me selling my Alleva-Coppolo custom that I used to own. Playability is excellent and this is definitely the best sounding P-bass I've owned. The tone is very clear and "precise" compared to many other P's I've played and it sounds wonderful with rounds or flats. I had it strung with TI Jazz Flats for a number of years and it was just fantastic. I just restrung it with a new set of GHS Boomers that have zero play time on them. The neck has been super stable and I've barely had to adjust the truss rod over the years. I also find the fingerboard to nicer than most P's I've seen.
The bass does have standard players wear, including light scratching/swirling and a couple dings in the headstock. Nothing on the body goes through the finish, but the headstock dings do. It was always taken care of and was my #1 for a few years. I love this bass and would love to keep it.
