Fender amp ?

Hi, i've had my M-80 for about 14yrs. Both inputs have developed static. Is it dust/dirt, or does it need to go to amp hospital? Anyone got a take? Thanks!!LOL!!

put some rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and rub it in and out of those little holes, that might do the trick. Or a small round file (like a clean chain saw file) in and out GENTLY about 1/2 time would clean them up too (amp off and unplugged).

Carefully spray contact cleaner or even WD40, then take your jack plug and do the "wild thing" a few times. If that doesn't do it, check connections.
