Up for sale is a favorite, but she sees very little play time as I prefer my jazz bass.
American Vintage Reissue '62 P bass that has been "reliced" by MJT Guitars. Really nice creamy vintage white with rosewood fingerboard and a Spitfire pick guard (a little wear on the pick guard by the truss rod- not on the pictures). Extremely well done relic job that looks totally authentic and not at all overdone. All hardware is aged perfectly. The back of the neck is as smooth as silk with no bumps or scratches. Bass is currently wearing Bartolini Classics but will come with original '62 pups included.
The bass plays beautifully with the TI Flats. Fairly lightweight for these at 8lbs 11oz. and just looks and feels wonderfully worn-in. It's really pretty much a work of art besides being a great player.
The small dark spot on the back of the neck is not a dent or ding.....neck is extremely smooth.
$1300 shipped CONUS $1250 local sale (Hoboken, NJ)
These pics are from the original seller, the bass is the same except for wear on the pick guard by the truss rod.
