Have this identical bass and just pulled the trigger on another in Seminole Red which will be arriving tomorrow. Personally, I don't think it gets any better than this series for production (non-CS) Fender Precisions. GLWTS!

In my experience, they have been BETTER than the CS, other than relic'ing, and the ability to order what you want. However, in terms of vintage authenticity, these are better. So many CS's get ordered with colors and specs that never existed historically. These AVRI's are the real deal.

I have one of these in sonic blue that was made 03/17… it looks the same as the day it was made, and I would never ever part with it!

I do love these basses, at 2k, I'd probably let mine go. That's a lot of $, but it's also a lot of bass.
