Fender bassman 215 "rolling thunder" modification help thread.

Howdy all, I did a search and couldn't find anything specific to what I'm looking for so, here goes!

Last week I picked up a mint Fender Bassman 215 8ohm MIM cab. It's basically from what I have read a "rebranded Sunn 215 cab". The casters were missing, and for the price... I didn't care, however, I'd like to either build a dolly or modify the cab so I can make it like a Ampeg with a towel bar, skid rails and a good set of "wheels" to make it rolling thunder ( puns intended!).

Has anyone here done anything like this to a cab like this? What I am after is:

Simple, ( minimal amount of tools required).
Reversible, ( not because I think it will ever be a "holy grail" , I just dislike "chopping" up my gear.
Robust. ( wont fall apart when I hit the first threshold).
Reliable. ( will last for many, many, years with minimal maint.).
Inexpensive. ( want to be able to source parts at my local home improvement store).

Thanks in advance. Really. I mean it!

Best regards,
WG.
