Fender Boxer PJ '80 wiring diagram

Hi, I have recently completed my first electric bass with PJ pickups configuration and I would like to wire them exactly the same way as they are connected in the 80s PJ Boxer model. Are any of you aware of the original Fender Boxer pickups connection diagram ? From what I've read the pickups should be connected in series and with TBX tone control and 3 way selector. I hope someone can help me. My pickups are the SD Quarter Pound. I can't find the specific topic here on the forum . Greetings to all of you.

In the wiring diagram I found for the PB-555 the pups are parallel with a 3 way switch, the bridge had a phase switch as well. You are correct about the TBX controls. Wired up with 250k pots and the usual .047 cap

Maybe becouse the P tone is already big and full.

Pretty sure it's standard P/J 3-way.
P pickup>Vol Pot>Switch
J pickup>Vol Pot>Switch
The switch outputs to the TBX then to the jack.
I'd use 500KA pots all around with QP pickups. .047 tone cap on the TBX. These pots will get the clarity out of the higher output QPs which can be easily rolled back with the TBX.

I didn't see a specific Boxer P/J wiring, but there are plenty of diagrams for VVT with 3 way switch. They all do the same thing: pickups>volumes>switch>tone/TBX>jack.
Here's what is generically found in a Boxer. Just plug in the TBX wiring diagram for the tone control found here.

I'm mostly sure the Boxer used 250KA pots on pretty standard pickups. If you are using QP pickups and wiring from scratch, it's a good opportunity to customize it a little for some performance enhancements, like 500K pots for clarity, linear taper for finer blending in the sweet spots of the control, etc...

I don't have an specific diagram in here, so I'm affraid I'm not being too helpful, but there's one thing we should keep in mind when replicating the Boxer circuit - the original instrument (and its 2021' reissue too) had their PJ pickups wired in Series. Most PJs have the P to J route in Parallel, so the Boxer is one of the few exceptions here.

The split coils of the P are probably wired in series like most do, though. But I still could be wrong in this part.
