i JUST purchased a blue flower.
same bass different finish.
great neck, "that" fender sound.
surprised that the original p / tele style headstock is
not causing a weak g-string tone in general.
exceptionally light body - neck dives wee bit
i'm also appreciating the pickup for what it IS,
rather then what it isnt.
even your friends put off by the finish eventually come 'round.
to quote my wife
"you know, the flowers are starting to grow on me"
keep in mind that this is my 6th bass and it will likely never see a smoky bar.
a smoky rehersal room maybe ...
