I swapped out the original maple neck with this Fender japanese pb 62' rosewood neck The bass and neck are a perfect fit and are in excellent condition The classic 50s body is finished with a transparent white finish ... zoom in to see the wood grain The gold anodized pickguard has been clear coated with a mat finish to take away the chalkboard feel an original anodized pickguard has The neck is stock Japanese fender 62 reissue 1 5/8 ths tusc nut with adjustment at the heel It is slim front to back and shows no wear scratches or dents This bass is well balanced and weighs in at 8.4 lbs on the bathroom scale Strung with chrome flats I hate to sell it but I need to thin out the herd a bit This is in my opinion one of the best basses fender has to offer for the money Only wear and tear on the bass is small chip in the finish at neck plate and slight red stain on rear of upper horn see pics Will ship to lower 48 in a used but functional fender gig bag Please + $25 for west coast shipping
That’s a sweet bass, wish I could justify buying it but I’m thinning out too, strange thing, my CIJ 70s reissue has that same pinkish discoloration in the finish in a couple places mostly on the back..GLWYS!
I think it's from the case or from a strap Not sure ... I bet I could buff it off but it really doesn't bother me ...I just wanted to disclose All the info in my ad This is a great bass ..someone will be very happy to own it Thanks for the reply Chop
