I am the original owner of this lovely lake placid blue 2023 Fender CS Jazz with light relic. It comes to you like new from Fender with case, fender shipping carton, hardware, shop traveller, document binder, etc. No relic on the back of the neck, which I prefer.
CS Love: My #1 player is a 2018 Fender Shop Custom Precision, so I bought this CS jazz to be its twin. But I keep reaching for the P bass and this lovely J bass is just sitting being pretty.
Retail on this one is $4,680 + tax. I got this on sale from an authorized dealer and can pass the savings along.
Weight on my postal scale is 8.8 pounds without bridge/pickup covers.
Price includes buyer's protection fees and CONUS shipping.
Local Nashville/Atlanta transaction discount available.

Descriptive Information:
The 1964 Fender Jazz Bass is appreciated for its warm, engaging swing in the neck position and its throaty, present definition in the bridge position. This faithful replication of the 1964 Jazz captures both of those voices perfectly, and does so in an instrument that invokes the spirit of the innovators who first explored the potential vocabulary of the Jazz Bass, and even the mysteries of time itself. The sculpted alder body, the nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the vintage bridge with ashtray pickup cover complete with the large "F" logo, all combine to create the extraordinary feel of this great bass guitar. The relic treatment adds the finishing touch in vaulting across the decades with this beautiful bass.
Additional details include the iconic neck pickup cover, the slender neck and comfortable "U" neck shape, a quartersawn maple neck and Indian rosewood fretboard, and a four-ply tortoise pickguard. Custom Shop Relic Jazz Bass Pick-Ups. The electronics are likewise faithful to the original, with two full-size volume knobs and the smaller tone knob. It's a masterpiece, truly an elegant instrument.
