Absolutely love it. Sounds bigger and warmer than any other PBass I've tried. Mojo for days. Gets more attention than any other instrument I've ever had - from musicians and non musicians alike.
Thanks.
I want that bass soooo bad. Found it on clearance for a good price but they want to charge me 200 extra for the case. You know who does that? I'm thinking of skipping the case and putting it in my Reunion Blues bag and calling it the day. I'm buying it to keep so I don't to much care about not having the case for resale value but you never know how life will do you.

I actually don't like the case it comes with anyway, to be honest. I've been thinking of swapping it out for a tweed case. But I've just been taking it to gigs in my Sadowsky Portabag, which I highly prefer to cases anyway. Not sure what they're asking for that bass. I got mine for $2995 mint with great service (and I think they still have one more)...

2799 w/o case. 2999 with. I tried to go for it yesterday but construction traffic was so awful yesterday it took me 1 hour to go 1 exit so I turned around to another hour to go back. Freakin' Atlanta traffick is worse than NY's at times. But I'm going up there today and see what happens.

I'd definitely go no case and knowing what I know now, I would have. That was the only disappointing thing about it. For $200, you can buy something much better, IMO.

Let us know what happens!

$200 EXTRA?!!
for the case???
not cool, imo.
It's Guitar Center. They've been doing that for years. And if you remind them that the bass was shipped with the case, they'll tell you that they have to put it in the system that way for inventory purposes. And once a year, they'll have a sale on cases on the sales floor of all the cases that were not sold with the bass for considerably less. Crazy I know.
