Reading a lot here Re: the electronics on these basses. I was told they were passive but reading a lot about pre amps. Out of the box are they passive or active?

Fender dimension pickups. Active?

Genuine Fender Bridge Pickup fit American Deluxe Dimension Bass IV HH 0096997000
incorrectly labeled "output" says 2.75K
output is measured in Volts, but I assume that's the DC Resistance measurement, which would definitely make that an active pickup
