Hi guys,

Would love to share my Jazz bass with you.

It's a 2002 Fender FMT Deluxe Jazz Bass.

I brought it second hand of eBay back in August.

As soon as I see it I had to put a deposit down. I instantly fell in love.

As for the tone, through a Fender Rumble, the crunch is unreal from the bass. I play in a 3 piece band and it has no problem cutting through the mix. It handles slapping like a dream and has a really nice, punchy tone with the bridge pick up on a quarter inch.

As for the neck - I had previously played a MiM jazz and this neck is quite different. It feels a lot fatter especially at the 12th fret.

Anyways cheers for looking

Matt

Beautiful!
This thread is not helping my gas at all. I spotted one of these in a local guitar shop used to they had it listed as a 1992, Price tag of $950 US.
I played in the fell in love with it but couldn't find that much information on them. I know they used two different types of pick ups, and was first a quilted top and then offered in flamed.

Do you think 950 is a good deal? It had The original brown case also. But I'm really saving up for the US geddy!! Ugh
