I have recently decided to upgrade to a new bass. I'm a college student so my budget is set right around $700. I'm really into the Fender family and was kind of leaning towards a used active J-bass or a used re-issued 51 P-bass. If anyone has played or owned either of these, or has any other good Fenders that they would recommend please tell me what you think of them.
