Hm. Well if I had to guess, I'd say it was a mix of parts. Body maybe a modded Mexican made, neck has truss rod access at the nut instead of the butt. I'm sure others here can identify the exact models, etc. What's the front of the head look like? Decal?

This bass (or it's twin) was discussed already here:

How to spot a fake?
The post I saw from 7 Or 8 years ago I did not see a picture of it, so not sure why I can't see the pictures from way back then and my understanding is that even if they, fenders were made in China or Mexico or USA that they still sell for 400 to 700 bucks so not sure why everyone seems to think or say they are not worth much. Not every single guitar I going to be a all original 1972 million dollar guitar

It's not a Fender (or Squier). The headstock shape is wrong.

It a total fake for sure.

A slab maple fingerboard with binding and a recessed truss nut, and 4 bolt neck plate....its not a Fender neck. Headstock TV style decal doesnt match that, and I guarantee that Z serial number is bogus as well. Cheap overseas version of tuners.

Might be a mim body, but this all looks like thrown together parts too.

When I first saw the blocks/binding with the recessed truss nut, I just assumed it was a Squier. Not even!

The thing that upsets me the most is when they sell such bass pretending it’s a real Fender !
Putting various parts together to build a bass is no problem and can give good results so just say it as it is.
I have 5 basses and all of them are parts basses with Fender, Squier, Warmoth, Bacchus and Lindy Fralins components and they sound amazingly good. They are customized to my taste but if I was to lie about it, next owner would eventually know.
Not everyone is thrust worthy nowadays………………

That post from 7 years ago wasn’t about your specific bass. It shares the same serial number as your’s, though.

Your bass has a counterfeit serial number that is commonly used on fakes. Google the serial number on the back of your headstock and you will get dozens of hits on a bunch of different fakes. Look at my post (#7) above where I posted two fake strats that share the exact serial number on your bass. Sorry, that your bass is a counterfeit Fender, but, if it’s worth $600 to you then no big deal. A word to the wise, if you ever resell that bass, please disclose that it’s a counterfeit, or even better, remove the serial number and logo.

Best of luck!

I don't think even Fender/Squier imports have swimming pool routes for the neck pickup, do they?
