Here is my 1987 Fender Jazz Bass Special, "Black Duff" all original. Excellent condition minus a 'lil headstock ding or two. Only selling as I just have way too many and am really digging my new Ibanez Workshop basses. Did I mention it's All Original? Indeed it is and sounds/plays fantastic. Yes, it has the "through the body" neck heel adjustment, wish all Fenders still had this. As with all of my purchases, I clean the hardware, wax the body, set the relief, action and do any fretwork if needed. (Yes, I'm qualified). $800 Shipped to the Con USA in a nice RoadRunner "soft" hard case. Price is firm. 8.6lbs / Nut width: 1.51" / 12th Fret width: 2.244" I apologize for the lousy pics. My good camera is broke and I had to use an iPhone. You can see more pics HERE The ONLY trade I'd be interested in is a Lakland 44-64 Custom P/J with a Natural finish and maple fretboard/blocks. Thanks for looking.
Great bass! I have one with a black neck muahahah. Anyone that has had a desire for one of these, you won't be sorry, great players and killer sound. The pickups are growly but can be tamed by turning the volume down slightly.
EDIT: This bass is in Very Good condition for its age. 8.5/10 IMO. Shiny paint, no fret wear, no board dings or wear. 1 small thing on the back of the neck, and 1 by the controls, (Pictured below). Few others on the back of the body as expected with a 33yr old bass. Doesn't look like it's seen 33yrs of playtime at all.
