Fender Jazz MIM Repaint

I'm going to be repainting this bass I purchased on ebay for around $250, it is in great shape (just a little ding by the input jack).

It was my understanding that rejected sunbursts where sprayed with a solid rather than redone as a burst.

Nope, most of the MIM's that I have stripped have been 3-7 pieces of alder glued together with a veneer on the front and back. Very common for fender. Even some of the us bodies have veneers. I've got a 9 piece(counting the veneers) P bass that rocks!

Looking fwd to the pics!
