Fender Jazz Standard vs. American Standard

im building a jzz now from a mim body. i've read often that the pups in mims are caca & noticed there are one million of them for sale, cheap, while antiquities, fralins, etc are $$$

but who knows. havnet heard mine yet. almost done

I own a MIM 60th Anniversary V, a MIA Jazz and a MIA Deluxe Precision.

While I cannot deny there is a difference in workmanship between the MIA and MIM, the MIM still plays very well in a gig setting.

Worth double the cost? Hmm, I have to think about that one.
Please, THINK!! :hyper:
Hahaha, the one MIM Jazz I've played sounded really good. Compared to the MIA JB's I've tried, it sounds fatter but with less definition; nothing new pickups wouldn't fix ;)
