Fender Marcus Miller Jazz PIckups

I'm getting a Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass (MIJ) in a couple of days.

What are the stock pickups in this bass like?

I have access to a new set of handmade Lollar Jazz Pickups and thinking I should put these in from the get go as I've heard mixed reports about the MM stock ones

Any views?

The weakest part of Fender Marcus Miller is a preamp. I swapped standard preamp with Sadowsky and kept stock pickups, and it sounds great (IMHO ;-)

Good example of what a MIJ Marcus Miller bass sounds like in a live context. Stock pickups and all.
