Selling my Marcus Miller V upgraded with a John East Marcus Miller J Retro Deluxe. This bass is in fantastic condition, especially for a 2005. Neck is perfect and body has very minor imperfections. It is actually extremely clean with the only real marks of note being on the bottom due to sitting on a stand. You can see these in the photos. There are a couple of minor indents in the clear coat but they are very hard to see and some of the usual clearcoat swirling that all clearcoats have.
The J East preamp is a beast and is a game changer with this instrument. The neck, playability and build quality have always been top notch on these and the only thing really lacking was the pre. The sweepable mids on this give it oodles of versatility and allows the bass to get very thick and punchy while still maintaining that jazz bass growl.
