Fender MIM Limited Edition 70's precision and jazz basses

A couple of weeks ago I saw the Mexican Fender Limited Edition 70's precision. And fell in love right away and ordered one yesterday.

But there hasn't been that much fuzz about these basses on the internet since their launch. They are not even listed on the Fender website...

Am I the only who digs them? Or are there other talkbassists out there, who are eager to get there hands on one of these basses?

Probably an FSR model similar to the one that I recently acquired (see avatar).

Is the serial number on the front or rear of the headstock? FSR models are typically on the front

Looks nice. But I also just came across the 2017 FSR of the ‘58 Precision, think I’m in love

Ordered the Jazz version. Played it shortly and when I pulled out the cable the tone control plated lifted do to stripped screw. Wasn't crazy about it. Didn't like the feel. I ordered and now returning it. But I am sure the precision is better. Also its all subjective and it may be for someone. I would only want people who liked it to enjoy it. All basses are different.

Thanks for your input. Sorry to hear you about your negative experience. The issue with the control plate is unacceptable. Certainly not for a bass at that price point.
