BassInCase.jpeg Here are some things about this bass:
  • I purchased it new back in 2001-02.
  • Mike Putnam did a pretty cool modification to it. He installed the Nordstrand
nj4se bridge pickup (sweet routing job). The center knob is a blend. The rear knob is tone. Mike created an input on the edge of the bass. I was able to get a nice range of tones using this configuration.
  • Currently strung with D'Addario Chromes (flatwound)
  • I will ship the bass in the Gator Transit Gig Bag. This bag is in mint condition. It's practically new. I had an older Gator bag that saw a lot of gigs. It started to fall apart and Gator replaced it with this one. This bag hasn't seen much action. No smoke. No pets.
  • I will include the Franklin black leather strap which includes black Schaller Strap Locks.
  • There are some dings, chips and scratches here and there. I did my best to capture these in my photos. More photos can be shared upon request.
  • The back of the neck has some superficial blemishes. I was able to capture one in a photo, but they are very difficult to see. You have to catch it at just the right angle in good lighting.
  • $700 includes shipping.

Not bad at all!
I just saw that too.
I tried a used C9 at gc the other day, it was beautiful. I loved the neck profile and the sound was huge but not boomy. Good finish too.
There are 3 sub-models of the c9, i am not sure what it was.

Went ahead and purchased that Cordoba C9 before the price goes back up to $900. Now my bass is just "for sale". Looking forward to its arrival sometime next week.
