Fender Mustang Replacement PU's

Any recommendations for replacement pups (higher output) for the Fender Mustang?

If memory serves correctly (fat chance), the Mustang is that freak with the split two pole arrangement. If so, I'd guess fat chance anyone would bother but Duncan would probably be as good a stab as any.

You can probably have Frailin (whoever) rewind them however you want and probably some would make you some from scratch if you want. Seems someone quoted Lindy rewinding J's for $50 and that's a pretty good price compared to what his pups list for.

If I really liked the bass I may think about a reroute.

just have it rewound by lindy fralin.

it'd be cheaper than a replacement it'd get you more output.
