Im sure somewhere is the bass universe this has been explained but here I go. I've been really gravitating to either the Fender Jazz 60s re-issue ( love the white with tortoise shell pick guard) or 70s re-issue. ( tobacco sunburst with the block inlay frets) The problem is I've only tried out the Standard Fender Jazz. No one around me seems to have either the 60s or 70s versions to try. The "thicker 70s C shape neck" has me a bit concerned. How much thicker is it? Anyone have any advice or experience??? Specs? Is the standard Jazz worth it to save money? Thanks!
