Fender Nylon Tapewound

If your talking about the 9120s your nut will be just fine. They go from .50-.110 but fit all my stock fender nuts with no mods.
The 7120s are a lot thicker and you'd probably have to open your slots at least on the G & D strings.

so if it is above 50? i need to open up the slots a little bit?
the nylon gauge is about 52-110... if it will be just fine well i think it would be great...
how i wished we could get a ghs black nylons around... by the way how is the 9120's tension? compared to a medium gauge flatwound?

I just put a set on one of my MIM Jazzes and the nut needed no modification. Unique sounding strings btw
they aren't dead in my opnion
round, woody, warm, resonant, tubular, think of all the sounds that just sound good in Bass!
They are fairly low tension, a lot lower than med flats, so some truss rod tweeking will probably be needed.
just a note for you -
I LOVE these but can't seem to use them on most of my stuff because....
You never ground to the strings, so its like having your guitar plugged in but not touching it. If your bass makes any buzz noise through the amp until you touch the strings, you will have that in the background, on your rig.
