Fender P-Bass (US) mystery hole.

Hi

I was replacing the pickup on my P-Bass and took the pick guard off for the first time. There is a 3/4 inch blind hole in the body.
Anybody know what its there for...or justa CNC goof?

It’s there to help with the CNC process.

(as much as this question comes up, Fender should add a little note under there explaining that little hole’s purpose…)

Mojo hole. Yours looks empty so you'd better get the pick guard back on and start playing to accumulate buildup.
