NOS Pawn Shop Mustang
I bought this on a whim while my 1966 is out getting refurbished.
Excellent condition, new Access hard shell case.
Very cool competition metallic red, lightly flamed maple neck with rosewood board.
I did a complete setup on it and it plays out very well.
$600 and split actual shipping

Had some folks ask what it weighs:
7.7lbs

Nice. Would probably be all over it if I wasn't already deep into negotiations for something else. Have always wanted to try one loaded with that pup. Should make somebody else very happy.

Rosewood, or Pau Ferro? ( CITES wants to know... :cautious:)

Fender’s description says only “rosewood.”
Of which there are many variants, only some of which are covered by CITIES. I’m not sure if they sold these outside the US, or if it’s problematic. However, I’d be very surprised if Fender used a rare and expensive rosewood on a bass at this price point. Or at all, really.
