Fender Player Jazz Bass vs Lollar: 60s or 70s?

Nothing wrong with the MIM stock pup but I would like to get more clarity and punch.
Has anyone exchanged it for a Lollar?
Looks like the Lollar 70s has a stronger bridge pickup than the Lollar 60s - showing enhanced mids and bass.
Would it work with the Player, which I believe has a 60s spacing from the bridge?
Looking to use it for Rock (70-90s).

I can only comment Lollar 60 vs 70 5 string jazz pickups. 60 has more mids and softer highs and have raised pole pieces for E, A nd D, that affects especially A sting to jump out a lot. 70 have bit more low end and clearly more sizzle, but does not sound scooped. For me 70 are better as I'm not that much into mids forward sound, but not for too scooped either. I play with pick and like semi-modern sparkle tone, and music style is modern down tuned metal (Drop A). Hope this helps you to understand the difference between 60 and 70 pickups.

P.S. My bass is fender AM Pro 2 V that has 60's spacing for pickups.

The 70s style pickup will sound great in either a 60s or 70s pickup spaces bass. In my opinion, the bridge pickup spacing will affect the mid characteristic that we hear. The 60's position will enhance low-mids, 70s position will enhance hi-mids.
I have had the same pickups in both 60s and 70s spaced basses, and they sounded great in either one. Pickups in question are Fender Marcus Miller singles out of a signature bass.

I seem to prefer a 70s style pickup with more top end sizzle as well. I think you will be happy with the 70s Lollar in your 60s-spaced bass.

As another comparison, in Aguilar's older showcase video, they put each of their pickups in the same bass - a Lakland Joe Osborne with 60's spacing. Aguilar seems to reproduce the 60s and 70s pickups to exact specifications like Lollar, so I trust their products.
I prefer their 70s pickups and HC pickups to the others.
