Fender 2017 AVRI (USA) 58 Reissue P Bass-
If you've noticed Fender since 2013, has done a wonderful job on this series between the basses and guitars. There was a shake up at Fender in 2011 and they decided to review the whole line to make improves across the board. In my opinion they've done a fine job.
Here's my 2017 '58 AVRI- 3 color sunburst and maple neck:
Period Correct Features:

- C-shaped maple neck with 20 vintage-style frets and black dot inlays
- Gold anodized aluminum pickguard with lacquer finish
- American Vintage '58 split single-coil pickup
- Lower-mounted finger rest
- Vintage-style bridge with threaded steel "barrel" saddles- w/ both covers
- Flat-top knurled chrome control knobs and reverse tuners
- Mounted chrome pickup and bridge covers
- 8 3/4 lbs
Original Tweed (G&G) poodle lined case and case candy
Please check out the neck. To me this one escaped the Custom Shop. You don't see this kind of flaming in the regular line. This neck must of been taken from the Custom shop.It's one of the nicest flames you'll ever see.
