I am listing my Fender Precision American Standard 5 String. I am not playing much these days and am moving my collection. This is a great 5 string that I picked up on here a few years ago. It came installed with the Nody pickups which I believe make this bass. I ended up making it active with a Richter Preamp. It is setup with the volume at the bottom, Treble/Bass Stack (Push-Pull Active/Passive) and Midrange Stack (Parametric) at the top. There is a blue diode that tells you that the battery is dying when it is lit. It is strung up with Labella Deep Talking Thru Body strings. Great sounding bass. Just a note, I had a friend install the electronics, so it was not professionally done. It will come with a stacked blend pot that I was going to replace the volume with that I believe acts as two separate volume pots. Non original beat up hard shell case and the original pickguard that came with it, which has 4 holes drilled.
The battery is located under the pickguard, towards the lower horn if I remember correctly. It is one 9volt battery. Thanks

Which Nordstrand pickup is in the bridge position? Was it professionally installed? Also very curious about the way you configured the controls.
The bass came with the Nordy pickups and was passive with a toggle switch that toggled neck, both and bridge. I wanted to try to make it active and purchased the richter. As far as the controls, what would you like to know?
Have not had too many five strings in my life but, It is one of the more solid B strings I have experienced.
Have you checked if the serials on the body and neck match? I ask because Fender didn't put out a rosewood/black P5 combo. I have seen folks have 2 and swap necks, etc so I think they are legit Fender builds but wonder if this is a one off.
Can you reiterate what each knob is from neck side to bridge side please? The OP didn't make sense to me.
I am not home to look at it but took this off of the richter website. Bridge to Neck (Left to right). I hope this helps.
I purchased a stacked volume pot to replace the installed volume pot so that you can control the volume of the bridge pickup and neck pickup separately. That will come with the bass.
